spiritoftheforestandearth: Favorite movies #1 cloud atlas I’m going to be honest when I first rented this movie I didn’t expect much, sure the trailer shows plenty of action shots and mind bending special effects but I was fare from expecting a few hours of tear filled life lesions that ended with a pleasant since of sweetness. Besides that sweet surprise the movie has every thing for every audience: For the history buffs, The Pacific Journal of Adam Ewing or the earliest date. For the musical and simplicity lovers Letters from Zedelghem. For the action lovers Half-Lives: The First Luisa Rey Mystery. For comedy lovers The Ghastly Ordeal of Timothy Cavendish. For a romantic drama An Orison of Sonmi~45. And for the Sci-Fi adventure lovers  Sloosha’s Crossin’ an’ Ev’rythin’ After. My favorite story was An Orison of Sonmi~451 because all of her wise words and my strange attachment to her innocents but I must admit The Ghastly Ordeal of Timothy Cavendish was very close. some people say they didn’t like it because of the constant time change but I found this a welcoming change and worth putting up with to understand the complete impact of the movie. See it ***** (5 out of 5 stars)
